MAKROSAFE Holdings Operational Structure

Over the past months, MAKROSAFE has undergone a few structural changes to benefit clients and Health and Safety implementation as a whole.

These changes, along with an approach focused on valued services, has become the core focus for clients to exploit.

So, how does it work?

MAKROSAFE operates Nationally with Offices centered in Alberton, Cape Town, Durban and Pretoria.

Each region is led by a Regional Director who has one or more Operational Coordinators. These, are qualified individuals, registered with SAIOSH who takes control of the management of Clients portfolios in terms of the Project needs, resources, time management and  allocation to those needs. In essence, they become the project leaders clients can rely on to keep a finger on the pulse of the Clients' Health and Safety Status in all aspects.

Each Coordinator is supported by one or more Health and Safety Practitioners. These are also SAIOSH registered Technicians with years of experience in the field of Health and Safety. Their focus is simple, address the challenges that clients face in terms of Health and Safety. Basically, they are problem solvers and opportunity creators for the clients. Whether it be advising clients on how to address a specific task, or giving clients information on how to obtain Health and Safety Equipment, their focus is to address these challenges for the clients.

Then, we have the health and Safety Inspectors. These are individuals also registered with SAIOSH who do the ground work of conducting inspections (a vital component in any safety program) on the clients premises. These inspections are then captured onto a management system, which generates findings based on the inspections and the site requirements. These findings along with a compliance graph becomes the foundation of the Practitioner to address challenges and create opportunities for clients to improve in terms of their Health and Safety.

These individuals are then also supported by a Health and Safety Administrator who undertakes the challenge of giving administrative support for scheduling of site visits, booking training, audits and additional services as well as conducting the IOD support for clients in terms of closing claims with RMA and WCA as well as conducting the submissions for clients for their return of earnings annually.

What this basically means is that a client has an entire team looking after their health and safety interests. This is beneficial compared to having a full time employee doing this since a team member who gets ill, could easily be replaced by another in the structure to fulfill a duty.

Also considering the time it takes to conduct things like risk assessments, a team conducting these activities are much more efficient than any one person.

The value for money is therefor amplified, and the clients of MAKROSAFE can now exploit this as time efficiency has become a reality for the client, allowing them to focus on running their business, and should there be a crisis, this team is just a phone-call  away.
