Occupational health and safety is a primary focus of leading global organisations gearing for competitiveness, high performance, enhanced business credibility and increased profitability. Organisations wanting to position themselves as industry leaders know that the key to achieving this goal is to invest in the establishment of practices and processes that promote health and safety in the workplace and by equipping managers and staff with the right safety training and skills.
Learners who partake in this course are likely to be employees of large organisations operating outside of the UK, or of multinational companies needing to adapt international standards to accord with local needs and practice. - IGC1 – Management of International Health and Safety.
- GC2 – Control of International Workplace Hazards.
- GC3 – International Health and Safety Practical Application.
IGC1 and GC2 are 2 hour exam papers and GC3 is a 2 hour practical assessment carried out in the workplace.
The course covers the following topics:
- The principles relating to health and safety.
- Identification and control of workplace hazards.
- The practical application of this knowledge
