How does the MAKROSAFE Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Qualification work?

The candidate is required to complete a theoretical course and practical training at the workplace in order to graduate. The theoretical part of the training is provided by the MAKROSAFE Training Academy that is an accredited training service provider, while the practical learning takes place at the workplace under the guidance of a mentor.

The MAKROSAFE Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Qualification last for the duration of 1 year in order to complete the qualification. During the course, candidates will be required to complete assignments, tasks and practical tests and projects. Candidates will be formally assessed in the classroom and workplace. If all these assignments are completed successfully, the candidate will be awarded an NQF level 2 registered qualification that is recognised nationally. The candidate will receive a health and safety certificate.
