  • Basic Fire Fighting
    This course is targeted at employees with responsibilities for functions within the workplace that relate to fire-fighting activities. Once completed, this course will ensure the recipient will be able to identify different types of fire, explain and practice fire prevention, operate basic fire fighting equipment and perform basic fire fighting procedures.
  • OHS Act for Management
    The person attending this course will be able to explain the basic principles of relevant current health and safety legislation and the consequences of non-compliance. Once completed, this course will ensure the recipient will understand the implementation and enforcement of selected legislation, application of common law principles relating to occupational health and safety in the workplace, the legal position of the negligent party in terms of the principles of the law of delict and more
  • Health and Safety Representative
    The Makrosafe Health and Safety Representative Training Course is the ideal way to ensure that your OHS representatives fully understand their objectives and statutory requirements. Every representative in this field has rights, powers, functions and duties that must be understood and implemented.
  • Risk Assessment
    This course is targeted at employees with responsibilities for functions within the workplace that relate to health and safety. Once completed, this course will ensure the recipient will be able to explain the legal and specified requirements for conducting continuous risk assessments, prepare to conduct a continuous risk assessment, conduct a continuous risk assessment and initiate remedial action and follow up on continuous risk assessment.
  • Incident Investigation

    Time:  Due to the Formative Assessment, Practical Hours (Log Book) and compiling of the Portfolio of Evidence (PoE), the minimum hours are much less than that required when doing accredited training.

    Cost:  Since less time is required by the assessor to conduct the training and no assessment being done on the PoE, no moderation and verification is required, so the cost of a Health and Safety short course is less than an accredited Health and Safety Training Course.
