    Distribution boards must be kept closed and locked at all times. All circuits must be numbered and named so that they may be easily identified. Only an Electrical Competent Person may work on a distribution board / electrical circuits.

    A hand tool is any tool that is not a power tool, that is, one powered by hand (manual labour) rather than by an engine. Some examples of hand tools are garden forks, secateurs, rakes, hammers,, spanners, pliers, screwdrivers and chisels. Hand tools are generally less dangerous than power tools.
  • Safe Operating Procedure for Handling a Kettle
    When pouring boiling water from the kettle ensure that the lid of the kettle is properly closed before you pour water into a cup or container. Never poor boiling water with the lid removed, the steam will scald you.
